My name is Robert de Wilde and I have been a Career Coach for more than 10 years. I live in Amsterdam and was born in Spain.

From 2025 I also commit to coaching English speaking professionals online and face to face in Barcelona.

Each month face-to-face in the offices of Spaces, inside the innovative district 22@) of Barcelona.

My story:

I have often reinvented myself. I started out as an attorney and (independent) lawyer at large multinationals like Vodafone, Pepsico, Shell, Canon and Accenture, was an agent in the entertainment industry and followed my heart by transitioning to working in the field of personal development.

My focus now is on career coaching for English speaking professionals in Barcelona area who want to grow both personally and professionally.

The past years I have been able to help more than 300 corporate professionals and creatives in their professional growth, from more than 20 countries.

My clients work, amongst others, in the Barcelona area as English speaking corporate professionals, architects, creatives at agencies, lawyers working in the legal profession, or business, finance, education, charities, technology and at startups or scaleups. Please note, I am not a “Job Coach”. So, if you are currently unemployed and have difficulty getting a job - this coaching is not for you. There are many other very capable career coaches specialising in that field.

Are you considering changing careers, or simply keen to sharpen your focus? I started out as a lawyer and reinvented myself—from working behind a desk to working in personal development. But the path of change did not walk itself.

We can all benefit from examining our own core values, improving our capacity to signal what we do and don’t want. My values are health, respect, creativity and growth.

I now work with various people, empowering them to tap into their own strengths.

A life-cycle map: we identify short, middle and long term goals

You will work on tasks identified - your to-do's, career steps (Linkedin, find a new job, network connections, and so forth)
And/or steps to improve personal life (relationships, wellbeing)
